ニセコのスキー場は12月2日にオープンしましたが、今週は雪は足踏みしていて、日中は少し暖かささえ感じます。

　とはいえ、北海道の12月は朝晩は冷え込み、今朝もマイナス7度まで気温が下がりました。

　日中と夜間で寒暖の差が激しい日の朝は、川岸の木々が真っ白い霧氷に彩られ、それはとても美しい風景を見せてくれます。

　今朝の尻別川沿いも木々が真っ白に美しく染まりました。一面モノクロの風景の背景には雲に覆われた羊蹄山が構えます。

　ニセコにいらっしゃったら、是非お宿の近くを散策してみてください。寒い冬ですが、冬ならではのとっておきの風景に出会えます。

明日より新たにニセコ泉郷のコテージの仲間入りをする、コテージ「トントゥ」をご紹介します。

コテージ「トントゥ」は数年前まで泉郷のコテージとして運営しておりましたので、過去にお泊りいただいたお客様もいらっしゃることでしょう。

このたび装いを新たにリニューアルし、また泉郷のコテージとしてお客様を迎えることになりました。

基本的な間取りは変わっておらず、１Fにリビング・ダイニング・キッチン・バス・トイレがあり、２Fはロフトになっており、シングルベッド２台とお布団２組がございます。

ご利用は２名様用で最大４名様までの人数でのご宿泊が可能です。

現在、泉郷レンタルコテ―ジのホームページへの掲載を進めていますが、まだ掲載の準備が整っていないため、先行して、じゃらんnetや楽天トラベル、Booking.comなどの予約サイトで予約の受付を開始しました。

現在、１２月１日～２月２９日までのご予約を受け付けておりますが、一昨日受付開始以来、日々予約が入ってきております。

１２月１日から宿泊可能です。

We would like to introduce the cottage "Tonttu", which will join the cottages of Niseko Izumikyo from tomorrow.

Until a few years ago, the cottage "Tontu" was operated as a cottage in Izumikyo, so some of our guests may have stayed there in the past.

The basic floor plan has not changed as the past , with the living room, dining room, kitchen, bath, and toilet on the 1st floor, and the 2nd floor is a loft space with 2 single beds and 2 futons.

The cottage is for 2 people and can accommodate up to 4 people.

We are currently posting the information of "Tonttu" on our website, but as it is not yet ready for publication, we are currently accepting reservations through online reservation sites such as Jalan.net, Rakuten Travel, and Booking.com in advance.

We are accepting reservations stay from December 1st to February 29th.Since we started accepting reservations the day before yesterday, reservations have been coming in every day.

にせこひらふエリアから少し離れた樺山エリアにて、外作業している男性スタッフらによって激写されたエゾリスがこちら。我々と同じく冬前準備をしているのでしょうか。
遭遇した男性スタッフらもこの時は童心に返ったように「リスだリスだ！」と大はしゃぎだった様子。ニセコエリアでは屋外作業をしているとこのようにエゾリスやキタキツネ、タヌキやテン、エゾシカなどの野生動物を見ることができます。もしニセコエリアにお立ち寄りの際、野生動物さんたちを見かけましたら「遊びにきたんだな」と、そっと見守ってあげてくださいね。

スタンダードログハウスコテージの「スティ」。ペットと泊まれるコテージとしても人気のあるログハウスです。

　この秋、このコテージ「スティ」のリニューアルを行っております。先日は寝室のベッドを変更しました。今迄はシングルベッド2台でしたが、ゆったりとお休みいただけるよう、広々セミダブルベッド2台の配置としました。

　また、ダイニングのテーブルと椅子も新調し、照明はLEDに置き換わり、少し暗い雰囲気だった室内が明るく感じられるようになりました。

　この後、さらに、リビングのソファ、テーブルや、テレビの変更（42型のスマートテレビ仕様になります。）などが予定されています。また、冬にはWIFIも使えるようになります。

　他のスタンダードコテージについても現在リニューアルを進めています。ぜひこの冬、泉郷レンタルコテ―ジをご利用ください。

Standard log house cottage "Stay". This log house is also popular as a cottage where you can stay with your pet.

This fall, we are renovating this cottage "Stay". We changed the bed in bedroom. There were two single beds, but now we have two spacious semi-double beds so that you can have a relaxing sleep.

Additionally, the dining table and chairs have been updated, and the lighting has been replaced with LEDs, making the previously dark room feel brighter.

After this, we are also planning to change the sofa, table, and TV in the living room (it will be a 42-inch smart TV). Also, WIFI will be available in winter.

Other standard cottages are also currently being renovated. Please use Izumikyo Rental Cottage this winter.

昨日までの雨は止み、今朝のニセコは青空が広がりました。そして青空の下姿を現した羊蹄山は麓の方まで再び雪化粧していました。

　この時期は紅葉が美しく、羊蹄山やニセコの山々を縫って走るニセコパノラマラインなど、素晴らしい景色が広がります。

　特に、今朝のように山が雪化粧している日は、紅葉の赤や黄に山に降った雪の白、そして青空のコントラストが絶妙で、素晴らしい風景に出会う事ができます。

　秋の紅葉ドライブ、是非ニセコへお越しください。

　尚、今日昼までのこの天気は夕方には雨、夜には雪になるそうです。この時期、タイヤの交換は早めにしていただき、安全運転でお越しください。

We are excited to share this amazing view from last night. I had the chance to enjoy the final stargazing tour of the season at Shinsen Muma Marsh. The sky was incredibly clear with no clouds, and we could even see the shadows of the stars in the marsh.

Next season, we highly recommend the mesmerizing experience of stargazing at Shinsen Numa. In the meantime, you can immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of nature with walks at Shinsen Numa, available until October 22nd.

神仙沼で、今年最後の星空ツアーに参加しました。ライトが1つもないので、星がすごく綺麗に見えました。今回は雲もなかったので神仙沼にたくさんの星が写ってます。

先日コテージの点検作業をしていた際、建物のすぐ側の木に、国の天然記念物に指定されているクマゲラが留まっているのを見つけました。

　ニセコの山や羊蹄山麓の森には生息している大型の啄木鳥のクマゲラ。

　同じ啄木鳥の仲間のアカゲラは、割と見かけることがあります。しかし、クマゲラをニセコヒラフ地区の建物が立ち並ぶ、この場所で見るというのは初めての経験でした。

　カメラを持っていなかったのでスマートフォンで撮影しましたが、望遠レンズでは無いので限界があります。すぐに飛び立っていってしまいました。

　開発が進むニセコひらふ地区ですが、逞しく生きる生き物たちが暮す森が身近にあることを忘れないで欲しいと、クマゲラさんが告げにきてくれたように感じました。

　The other day, when I was inspecting a cottage, I found a black woodpecker, which has been designated a national natural treasure , sitting in a tree next to the building.

The black woodpecker is a large woodpecker that lives in the forests of the mountains around Niseko and the foot of Mt. Yotei.

Around here, the red-headed woodpecker, a member of the same woodpecker family, is often seen. However, it was my first experience to see black woodpeckers in this area, which is lined buildings in Niseko Hirafu district.

I didn't have a camera, so I took pictures with my smartphone, but I could not take photo well, because it doesn't have a telephoto lens. Black woodpecker took off immediately.

The Niseko area is being developed year by year. The black woodpecker may have come to tell us, ``Don't forget that we live here too.''
